Am I doing something which is possible, or am I'm missing something major? I need two separate EFIs on two different disks. My question (thank you for your patience). I'm fine with debugging the OpenCore install process myself, but I'm starting to think that I might be doing something ill-advised. But that just booted into Recovery, listing all the drives in my machine except for the new drive on which I want to install Monterey. I've added the drive, and booted from the Monterey installer on an OpenCore-prepared USB. Boot from the Monterey drive & Monterey! Boot from the Catalina drive & Catalina! Other drives in the machine will be shared between the two. That drive will have its own OpenCore EFI, because the requirements of Catalina & Monterey are different. Add a drive to my H'tosh & install Monterey 12.6.2 on it. I don't want to delete my fine-but-dated Catalina install until I'm sure a clean Monterey install is working fine. But software is starting to require MacOS 11 or later. My H'tosh is great: a i9-10900K, 64GB RAM, RX580, yada yada, running OpenCore + Catalina 10.15.7, rock solid. Having a problem actually doing it, but have raised a separate post about that. EDIT: Changed to solved as it appears possible to do what I'm trying to do: thanks to everyone who replied.
